**Use pg. 13 of your Research packet to guide your informational writing PARAGRAPH BY PARAGRAPH.
Introduction: Grab your reader's attention by introducing the animal you will be writing about. You can begin with a question, or statement. You could also state you will be telling about this animal's appearance, habitat, diet, and sharing some interesting facts.
Body: You will have 3, DIFFERENT body paragraphs. Note this will not all be described in 1 paragraph, as they must be separate.
~Body paragraph 1: You will talk about the animal's appearance such as: skin, scales, fur, feathers, size, any any unusual or fascinating details you want to share on their appearance.
Body paragraph 2: You will talk about the animal's habitat & diet. Such as: where they are located, their ecosystem, climate, diet, predators, and prey.
Body paragraph 3: Here you will talk about interesting facts about the animal. Such as: surprising facts, record breaking statistics(think about genius world records) , and any unique/cool characteristics.
Conclusion: Summarize/close the information you have shared. You may restate ideas from your introduction. Such as you may start your conclusion something like this: In closing, I hope you enjoyed reading about my animals appearance, diet, habitat, and all the interesting facts I have shared with you.
