All About Mrs. Morris

Hi! My name is Kourtni Morris. I have resided in my hometown of Hazlehurst, Georgia for the past thirty-three years. My husband Blake and I have been married going on ten years. We have one son, Karson who is nine years old. I have been in education for twelve years with the Jeff Davis County Board of Education. I worked as a paraprofessional for four years while obtaining a degree in education. I currently teach fifth grade at Jeff Davis Elementary School, where I have taught the past seven years. During my seven years of teaching I have had the opportunity to teach in all content areas. This is my eighth year teaching, and I am continuing to teach fifth grade in the content area of English Language Arts. I graduated in 2012 with a B.S in Elementary/Special Education. I obtained my M.S in 2015 in Curriculum and Instruction along with obtaining my gifted endorsement. I currently have an Ed. S. degree in Teacher Leadership, and will complete my Tier 1 add-on leadership degree in Spring of 2022.
