Right to Know Professional Qualification of Teachers and Paraprofessionals

 

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s):

 

In compliance with the requirements of the Every Students Succeeds Act, the Jeff Davis County School District would like to inform you that you may request information about the professional qualifications of your student’s teacher(s) and/ or paraprofessional(s). The following information may be requested:

 

• Whether the student’s teacher—
  • has met State qualification and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction;
  • is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which State qualification or licensing criteria have been waived; and
  • is teaching in the field of discipline of the certification of the teacher.

 

• Whether the child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications.

Derecho a saber Calificación Profesional de Maestros y Paraprofesionales

 

Estimados Padres/Guardianes:

 

En conformidad con los requisitos del Acto Cada Estudiante Tiene Éxito (Conocido en Inglés: Every Student Succeeds Act), el Distrito de las Escuelas del Condado de Jeff Davis quisiera informar a usted que usted puede pedir información sobre las cualificaciones profesionales del maestro(a) y/o ayudantes de maestros. La siguiente información puede ser pedido:

 

• Si el maestro del estudiante—
  • ha logrado cualificaciones estatales y criterio de la licencia para los niveles de grados y áreas de sujetos cual el maestro proporciona enseñanza;
  • está enseñando debajo de un estado de emergencia u otro provisional estado por cual los requisitos del estado o cualificaciones de la licenciatura ha sido renunciado;
  • está enseñando en un área de disciplina del área de certificación del maestro.

 

• Si su hijo esta proporcionado con servicios de un ayudante de maestros y sí, además sus cualificaciones.
